The Downtown Waxhaw Association celebrated the renovation and opening of Justin’s new office with a Ribbon Cutting on Friday, October 10 at 4 p.m. at 110 N Broome Street.
The event brought together friends, family, community members, and local leaders—including Town Manager Scott Dadson and Mayor Robert Murray—to celebrate another exciting chapter for Downtown Waxhaw’s growing business community. Guests also enjoyed an incredible custom charcuterie board prepared by another new neighbor, Carolina Charcuterie & Catering.
A MESSAGE FROM JUSTIN COOPER
During the ceremony, Justin shared heartfelt remarks about his approach to financial advising and his philosophy on what it truly means to be “rich.”
“What we do is really about helping people. At the heart of this business and what we love doing is figuring out how we can better serve our clients. It means a lot to be part of their journey—figuring out what ‘rich’ really means to them, because it’s different for everyone.”
He went on to share a story about Edward Jones’ founder, Ted Jones, whose 1985 reflection in Forbes defined wealth not by numbers, but by gratitude:
“I am the richest man in America. I have a wife who loves me in spite of my faults… I enjoy my business. I love my home. I have a few close friends, and money has never been my god.”
Justin’s message perfectly captures the Edward Jones philosophy of purpose-driven financial advising rooted in relationships, integrity, and community.
