Join us for Indie Retail Weekend, an annual community-wide celebration of shopping small and supporting local. Throughout the weekend, downtown businesses will offer special experiences, extended hours, demonstrations, giveaways, live music, pop-ups, and other unique activities designed to help you discover something new.

New This Year: Collect Downtown Waxhaw

Indie Retail Weekend also kicks off our new Collect Downtown Waxhaw Trading Card Challenge!

Make a purchase at participating businesses throughout the month of July to collect exclusive Downtown Waxhaw trading cards. Collect all 10 cards to unlock a limited-edition Golden Water Tank Card and be entered to win Downtown Waxhaw gift cards and other prizes.

The challenge begins during Indie Retail Weekend and continues through July 31, giving you plenty of time to complete your collection while supporting local businesses.
