Did you know? The Union County community of Roughedge is named after a colonial-era tavern. In Waxhaw, Cureton's Tavern near the NC/SC border reportedly hosted George Washington and Marquis de Lafayette.
Period dress is welcome but not required. Tickets are $50 per person, with limited space available. As a nonprofit 501(c)3, proceeds from this event help fund future initiatives to preserve local history.
