Join the Town of Waxhaw's July 4th Independence Day Celebration Parade featuring floats, bands, and horses in Downtown Waxhaw.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 4, and runs through South Main & North Main Streets. No pets are allowed for the safety of all visitors.
PARKING
There is no parking along the parade route including the gravel parking spaces on W. North Main Street. Please be aware of additional road closures, including N. Providence and McDonald Streets, and follow all detour signs.
Public parking is available in the lot at the corner of Hwy 16 and Blythe Mill Roads with a five-minute walk to downtown. Additional parking is available at various locations in and around downtown. Please see the downtown parade map for more information.
ADA/Handicap parking is available at N. Church and McDonald Streets, E. South Main and S. Providence Streets, and the Waxhaw Skate Park at Caldwell and Givens Streets.

The Town of Waxhaw provides free shuttles at the following locations:
Millbridge Clubhouse (1401 Millbridge Pkwy.)
State Employee’s Credit Union (3934 S. Providence Rd.)
Lawson Clubhouse (2306 Lawson Dr.)
Waxhaw Recreation Barn (5412 Waxhaw-Marvin Rd.)
Waxhaw Elementary School (1101 Old Providence Rd.)
Shuttles will pickup/drop-off guests in downtown at the corner of N. Church and Price Streets, and the corner of Caldwell and S. Broome Streets.
